Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information is processed when you visit cometoguide.com (the "Site") and how it is protected. The Site is operated by BAYSAL LTD, Company No. 16411659 (England and Wales) · DUNS 233745864, Suite 8962, 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG, United Kingdom ("ComeToGuide", "we").

1. In short

• There are no accounts, forms or payments on the Site; we do not collect your name, email or card details.
• Preferences such as language, currency and recently viewed guides are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us.
• When you click a partner link (transfer, car rental, eSIM, etc.), that partner's own privacy policy applies.

2. Information we process

• Server logs: IP address, date/time, requested URL, browser and device information, referring page. Kept for security, debugging and abuse prevention, for no longer than 6 months.
• Search queries: the airport and destination you type into the site search, used to show results; they may appear in server logs.
• Browser storage: your chosen currency, language-suggestion preference and recently viewed guides. This stays on your device and can be cleared in your browser settings.
• Contact: if you email us, we use your address and message only to reply.

3. Third-party services

Pages use the following services; when your browser connects to them, your IP address is sent to that provider:

• OpenStreetMap map tiles (OpenStreetMap Foundation, UK)
• Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA)
• Google Tag Manager and, only if you consent, Google Analytics (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.)
• the Leaflet map library via the unpkg content delivery network
• Travelpayouts: a script on our pages used for site verification and managing partner links; your browser connects to Travelpayouts servers and the service may use cookies or similar technologies.
• Partners in the Travelpayouts network (transfers, transport tickets, car rental, eSIM). After you click, they may use their own cookies.

Exchange rates are fetched by our server once a day; no visitor data is shared in that process.

4. Purposes and legal basis

We process this information to provide, secure, debug and improve the Site, based on our legitimate interests (UK GDPR and EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); for visitors in Türkiye, KVKK Art. 5(2)(f) — see our Personal Data Notice (KVKK)).

5. Retention and security

Server logs are kept for up to 6 months and then deleted. Connections are encrypted with HTTPS and server access is restricted to authorised persons.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction, erasure or restriction of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to privacy@cometoguide.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, ico.org.uk) or, in the EU/EEA, to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page.
